Houston Center Recycling Program receives a Proud Partner Award
Houston Center Recycling Program received a Proud Partner Award at the 24th Annual Mayor’s Proud Partner Award and Luncheon held November 17, 2008.
Congratulations to Kimberly Gauss and the Houston Center team for their continued efforts on helping to Keep Houston Beautiful. Through the efforts of Crescent Real Estate and Houston Center customers, an improved recycling program was initiated in 2008 that utilized a multi-stream program that recycles paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, glass, batteries and fluorescent lamps. Though the new program has been in place only a few months, currently 60% of the trash is diverted from the landfill and recycled.

This Houston law office was designed to reinforce the firm’s standing as an international law firm, connect to the local community and express the local Texas culture. Fulbright Tower awarded the 2006 Clean Air Award
Fulbright Tower was recently awarded the 2006 Clean Air Award given by the National Air Filtration Association. Only 21 facilities in the country receive this award. Congratulations to their building engineers, who are pictured here.

Crescent Named Best in Customer Service for 5th Consecutive Year
FORT WORTH, Texas (BUSINESS WIRE) - April 7, 2006 - Crescent Real Estate Equities Company (NYSE:CEI) has been awarded for the fifth consecutive year the National Commercial Real Estate Customer Service Award for Excellence for the customer service it provides its office property customers. The award has been given by CEL & Associates, the largest surveyor of customer satisfaction in the real estate industry. In addition, 69 office properties owned by Crescent’s various subsidiaries have been named to the 2005 “A List,” the National Commercial Real Estate Customer Service Award for Excellence at the property level.
The awards recognize those companies whose management performance and commitment to providing the highest level and quality of service achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction. For five years running, customers of Crescent properties ranked the Company’s customer service and management in the highest percentile of the commercial real estate industry in the U.S.

Houston Center engineering team receives second Energy Star Award
HOUSTON, TX, October 24, 2005 - Congratulations to 1 Houston Center, 2 Houston Center, 4 Houston Center, 5 Houston Center and the Shops at Houston Center, for receiving the Energy Star Award. The chief engineers involved in attaining the Energy Star are Karl Rush, Felix Tijerina and Kris Zimmerman, and a special thanks to chief engineer Paul Dudkowski who led the Houston Center teams in receiving this award. This recognition is a reflection of the superb effort by the engineering teams.

The Energy Star program is an energy-management strategy designed to offer positive recognition to facilities that are environmentally aware and to further assist these companies in improving their energy consumption and performance. The process includes benchmarking energy consumption data and on-site certification by a mechanical engineer. The award Star distinguishes a building as one of the top 25 percent in the nation in terms of energy performance, and makes it a testament to improving the environment, as well as Crescent’s bottom line. Crescent Real Estate Equities Company (NYSE:CEI), one of the country’s largest real estate investment trusts, has been awarded for the third consecutive year the National Commercial Real Estate Customer Service Award for Excellence for office properties on the company level by Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) and CEL & Associates, the largest surveyor of customer satisfaction in the real estate industry. In addition, 56, out of the 65 surveyed, office properties owned by Crescent’s various subsidiaries have been named to the 2003 “A List,” the National Commercial Real Estate Customer Service Award for Excellence at the property level.
The awards recognize those companies whose management performance and commitment to providing the highest level and quality of service achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction. In 2001, 2002 and 2003, customers of Crescent properties ranked the company’s customer service and management in the highest percentile of the commercial real estate industry in the U. S.

CREW Partner of the Year
Debbie Wilson, vice president leasing at Houston Center, accepted two Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) awards for Crescent at the annual CREW luncheon.
Debbie, an active member of Houston CREW accepted these awards:
- The Partner Award - for Crescent’s sponsorship of CREW this year
- The Champion Award - for the company who has provided the most support to CREW over the year.
Both of these awards are currently in the Houston Center property management office. Congratulations to Debbie, Frank Staats, vice president property management, and Houston Center on these awards.

CREW Houston Chapter Champion Award
Crescent has supported CREW Houston since its inception in 1996. Crescent has been a CREW Sponsor and is now a Partner. In addition, Crescent has sponsored special events, small group dinners, and the CREW Golf Classic. Crescent graciously opened doors and underwrote certain amenities when we moved our luncheon meetings downtown - first, with the Houston Center Club where we held luncheon meetings as well as Board meetings for over a year, and second, with the Four Seasons Hotel, where we have held luncheon meetings since 2000. Crescent’s members include Debbie Wilson, who is responsible for leasing all of the Houston Center buildings in downtown Houston; Jane Page, a Senior Vice President with Crescent; and Darlene Tietze, the Property Manager for 4 Houston Center. Crescent richly deserves, and we are proud to honor Crescent with our first Chapter Champion Award.

EPA Energy Star Award
The Energy Star - it’s like a gold star for good performance when it comes to being energy conscious. 1, 2 and 4 Houston Center and Fulbright Tower were recently awarded the environmentally friendly label by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the United States Department of Energy (DOE). To qualify, our buildings had to demonstrate that, as an energy-efficient building, it can lower energy demand, reduce air pollution, and provide quality indoor environment and occupant comfort.
